Angels' Wings

May you now soar with Angels’ Wings
free from heartache and pain.
The weight removed from your shoulders.
You’ve gained all you can gain.

Long ago there was a time when
you were so young and free.
Big bright eyes and a smile to match
for all the world to see.

Your young life turned dark and ugly,
pain and strife all around.
You did your best to handle it.
You stood so tall and proud.

You saw more things than one should see.
You dealt with your fair share.
At times you must have thought “Why Me?”
Life did not seem so fair.

May you now soar with Angels’ Wings
free from heartache and pain.
The weight removed from your shoulders.
You’ve gained all you can gain.

Go Home to be forever young.
Your work on Earth is done.
God waits for you in the Kingdom.
He’s called you home, His Son.

In Loving Memory of
